一、New Year's Day

释义：元旦节Eg1：On New Year's Day in 1974,I started keeping a journal. 1974年元旦我开始记日记。

二、Valentine's Day

释义：情人节

Eg1：The director of marriage registry office says they will extend opening hours around Chinese valentine's day.婚姻等级处处长说，他们将延长情人节前后的营业时间。

Eg2：We had a romantic evening on Valentine's Day.情人节那天我们共度了一个浪漫的夜晚。

三、International Children's Day

释义：儿童节、六一国际儿童节

Eg1：When celebrating the international Children's Day?什么时候庆祝国际儿童节?

Eg2：Today is international Children's Day.今天是六一国际儿童节。

四、National Day

释义：国庆日、国庆节

Eg1：Sever new plays will be performed on National Day.国庆日将上演几个新戏。

Eg2：Singing and dancing,people celebrated National Day.人们载歌载舞庆祝国庆。

五、Teacher's Day

释义：教师节、中国教师节、感恩教师节

Eg1：We celebrated the Teacher's Day for all teachers this Monday,very happy.这周一我们为全体老师庆祝了教师节，非常开心。

Eg2：No!Don’t you know it’s teacher's Day this Saturday?不是!你不知道礼拜六是教师节吗?

六、Mother's Day

释义：母亲节

Eg1：What are you doing on Mother's Day?在母亲节你做什么了?

Eg2：I bouht a gift for my mother on Mother's Day.母亲节我买了一份礼物给我妈妈。

七、the Spring Festival

释义：春节

Eg1：The Spring Festival is only a week away.离春节只有一周了。

Eg2：The Spring Festival is drawing near.春节快到了。

八、Lantern Festival

释义：元宵节

Eg：We go to the Confucius temple and enjoy various lanterns there every year on Lantern Festival.我们每年元宵节都到夫子庙逛花灯。
